DARROW is excited to participate in the EU Green Week 2025 and co-host a session as part of the REACT Cluster. The session, titled “Circular Economy in Action: Rethinking Resources for a Greener Future”, will take place on 4 June 2025 online.
As part of the session, Beñat Elduayen-Echave from Team DARROW will present the AI-based tools we are developing to improve the day-to-day operation of water resource recovery facilities. By leveraging real-time data analytics and decision-support systems, DARROW enables operators to optimise energy use and reduce environmental impact. This contributes to both resource efficiency and climate resilience in the water sector.
The REACT Cluster (Resource Efficiency and Automation for Circular Transformation) brings together six Horizon Europe projects working at the intersection of digital technologies and circular innovation. These projects — DARROW, ALCHIMIA, CLARUS, GRINNER, RECLAIM, and Wood2Wood — demonstrate how AI, robotics, and automation can contribute to reducing waste, improving material traceability, and reinforcing strategic autonomy in critical sectors in the European Union.
Participation in our session is open to researchers, policy experts, industry professionals, and stakeholders interested in digitalisation, water management, and the circular economy.
📅 Date: 4 June 2025
🕐 Time: 13:30 – 16:30 CET
🌐 Format: Online
We look forward to contributing to this timely conversation and sharing how DARROW’s work supports the ambitions of the EU Green Deal.
